Every year, thousands of people flock to downtown Fruita to celebrate the life of a world-famous headless chicken named Mike. The 2025 festival will take place on May 30 and 31 at the Fruita Civic Center Pavilion.

Volunteers will receive some awesome perks:Every volunteer will receive a 25th Anniversary Mike The headless Chicken Shirt and a $15.00 merchandise voucher. Volunteer Details: Volunteers must be able to move between locations as needed.

Race Volunteers should be prepared to stand for the duration of their shift. Entrance Volunteers will have access to chairs and a shaded tent throughout their shift.
All volunteers will check in at the Mike Store tent for a brief orientation and instructions for their shift.
