Traffic Impacts from City of Fruita Projects
Starting Fall 2024 - Upcoming 19 Road Construction Project (Continued)
The City of Fruita is planning utility and roadway improvements along 19 Rd. from Highway 6&50 north to J.2 Rd. The improvements are expected to begin after the irrigation season in early November and last until summer 2025. Learn more about this project on the 19 Road project page.
Traffic Impacts from Non-City Projects
Upcoming Closure - Pine Street and Wildwood Drive | May 21 - 31, 2024 (Updated)
Starting May 21, 2024, the intersection at Pine Street and Wildwood Drive will be closed for utility improvements for the Gear Estates development. The road will be closed from Tuesday, May 21 - Thursday, May 23, 2024, and will open back up with slow speeds from Friday, May 24 - Monday, May 27. The road will then close again to finish up the project from Tuesday, May 28 - Friday, May 31. The recommended detour is taking L Road and K 4/10 Road to 18 1/2 Road.
